REQUEST BUDGET COUNSELING & MONEY MANAGEMENT

Confidential budget and debt counseling is available to veterans. Our Budget Counselor can review your current spending patterns and help you to meet your financial goals. Through this program, veterans can work with a budget counselor to:

  1. Create and/or develop a household budget

  2. Access and understand your personal credit report

  3. Set financial goals for the future

  4. Money management and eliminating debt

  5. Review current spending patterns

  6. Prepare for home ownership

Anyone can benefit from a free consultation from a budget counselor, but it's especially valuable for those who struggle to manage their monthly financial obligations.

In order to accurately assess your current financial situation, your counselor will need to know your monthly income and living expenses, as well as how much you owe each of  your creditors. Prior to your session, you will need to gather proof of all income, 2-months bank statements, and copies of all bills paid on a monthly basis.
