July 2025 Raffle Giveaway Winner: John Succi of Geneva

We are proud to recognize John Succi of Geneva as the winner of our July 2025 Raffle Giveaway!

​

John served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1964. He was a Radarman on the USS Constellation CVA-64.  The ship started in Brooklyn, NY and ended up in San Diego, CA. He and his wife Karen have been married for 60 years. Together, they have one daughter, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  John worked for True Temper at the Saybrook plant for 17 years and retired from Grand River Rubber & Plastic in Ashtabula. He once loved doing remodeling projects with his wife, but no longer has the ability to do that type of hobby work. He does however, have very fond memories of the projects he completed over the years.

John received two tickets for the September 6, 2025 Goodtime III Honor Cruise, donated by the Rock Creek VFW Post 4953, two $5 gift certificates to Dairy Queen, two $10 gift certificates, donated by Biscotti’s Restaurant in Conneaut, one $100 Giant Eagle/Get-Go gift card, donated by the Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 of Ohio, one $25.00 Speedway Gas Card, donated by the Ashtabula ELKS Lodge #208, and a $35 valued Paver on the Veterans Commission’s Warrior Walk!
