Roger Kubat of Ashtabula is the winner of the April 2025 Raffle Giveaway. Roger served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1963-1967. He mainly served as Embassy Security in Saigon and New Dehli, which was considered American soil. He loved serving in our military because for him, it felt like the right thing.

​

Since leaving the Marine Corps in 1697, he has worked in the field of electronics, spending most of his adult life working with computers and learning. Currently, Roger works in transportation for Square One following a five-year stint working with Glenbeigh. Roger and his lovely wife, Terri celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February this year. He would like to thank you all veterans in our county for their service.

Roger received a $100 Giant Eagle Get/Go gift card, donated by the Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 of Ohio, a $25 Speedway gas card, donated by the Ashtabula ELKS Lodge #208, a $50 Giant Eagle Get/Go gift card, donated by the Helping Hands of Ashtabula, a $10 Speedway gas card, donated by Grace Gospel Church, and a $35 valued Paver on the Veterans Service Commission’s Warrior Walk!

Remember that all you need to do is come into our office and allow one of our Service Officers to conduct a Benefits Well-Check and you are automatically entered into our raffle! This is just one more way of saying thank you for your service while we advocate for you to obtain the benefits you earned with your service! See you soon!
