Congratulations to our April 2026 Raffle Winner: Wayne Johnson!
We are proud to recognize Wayne, a United States Marine Corps veteran who served honorably as a Corporal and Combat Engineer, supporting his unit through critical supply and operational roles.
After his military service, Wayne built a remarkable 30‑year career as the owner and operator of Wayne’s Home Improvements, earning a reputation for craftsmanship, reliability, and dedication to his community. This December, Wayne and his wife, Judy, will celebrate an incredible 54 years of marriage. Together, they have raised a beautiful family—two children, eight grandchildren, and three great‑grandchildren. In his free time, Wayne enjoys watching crime shows and spending time in his workshop, where he continues to create, build, and stay active.
Wayne received two $25 Speedway Gas Cards, donated by the Ashtabula Elks Lodge #208 of Ashtabula, four $5 Gift Certificates to Dairy Queen located at 1723 Prospect Road, Ashtabula, a $20 Free Haircut, provided by Great Clips in the Ashtabula Township, two $10 Gift Certificates to Biscotti's Restaurant located in Conneaut, a $100 Giant Eagle GetGo Gift Card, donated by Rolling Thunder, Inc. Ohio Chapter 2, and a Warrior Walk Paver (valued at $35) provided by our office!

Certified AARP volunteers will provide free tax preparation assistance. Appointments are required — please call to schedule.

Come celebrate the Ashtabula veteran community as we raise our right hands and once again swear our solemn promise to uphold our original oath of service in protection our family, friends and community.

Celebrate the season with our Holiday Gift Card Program. Eligible veterans and families may stop by during program hours to participate.
📅 November 5 - Veterans Appreciation Luncheon
⏰Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
📍 Location: Norman-D Banquet Center (2720 W 19th St, Ashtabula, OH 44004)
The Ashtabula community will come together to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Hosted by the Veterans Service Commission alongside Ashtabula Regional Medical Center, Foundations Health, Comfort Keepers, Bella Care Hospice, Carington Park, and Capital Health, this luncheon is a powerful tribute to those who have worn the uniform and continue to inspire us all.
